St. Matthew Catholic Church

“By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established.” Proverbs 24:3 

The  Maintenance Ministry includes a special group of volunteers who regularly take care of the church building and the grounds to make sure that God’s house is more than presentable. Some of these talented volunteers are part of a “Fix-It Crew” who tackle special ad hoc maintenance projects. Other volunteers refresh and replenish the sanctuary and water and tend the plants. There are some special occasions when St. Matthew Church family needs more than regular care and cleaning. These are the times when the congregation has given their time on a Saturday morning to perform a deep cleaning of the church, like on a "Parish Workday" - Fall cleaning and Spring cleaning. 

Volunteers for this ministry are not afraid "to get their hands dirty" and take pride in the upkeep of the Lord’s house.
